Today, Kia America debuted the 2023 EV6 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition1 at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering. With only 1,000 examples set for production, the commemorative EV6 celebrates its exalted status after being recognized as winning the “Utility Vehicle of the Year” category in the North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year™ (NACTOY) competition in January 2023. The all-electric EV6 was recognized for excellence in categories including automotive innovation, design, and value by the NACTOY jury, which consists of 50 automotive experts from print, online, radio, and broadcast media.

Kia America announced $150,000 in donations will be made to two organizations that are responding to the devastating wildfires in Hawaii. The American Red Cross and the Hawaii Community Foundation will receive $100,000 and $50,000, respectively, to support relief efforts on the island.

Kia America is hosting a free anti-theft software upgrade event for eligible Kia owners on August 12, 2023 at the Atlanta Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT. Kia Owners can confirm eligibility for the anti-theft software upgrade or order a free steering wheel lock at the following website: https://ift.tt/t7NAuVn. Kia has also provided the Atlanta Police Department with a large quantity of free steering wheel locks1 to distribute to Kia owners not eligible for the software upgrade.  This event is the latest in Kia’s efforts to support Kia owners, the Atlanta Police Department and the greater Atlanta community by making it more difficult for criminals to use methods of theft popularized on social media.
